Q871:  I need help to increase my disability compensation. I have been getting 10% since the early 80’s. Where do I look?

A1:   If your condition has gotten worse, then you can seek the assistance of an accredited Veteran Service Officer.  Most all states have a State Department of Veterans Affairs that maintains accredited service officers. All you need to do is Google your state and then department of veterans affairs. You can also do your claim on-line.  You can also download a VA Form 21-526ez and complete and mail it to the VA.  I would highly recommend seeking counsel with an accredited VSO because a lot of things have changed in the last 40 years and you may have disabilities now that should be service connected and not even know it.  (DS)  2/14/23

A2:  Find a local veteran service officer for assistance.  (RJ)  2/14/23
