Q842:  I had a medical exam and the date set then I get a letter from them and said I did not have to show up they had enough information.  What can I expect? An award or a denial?

A1:  Well, that question could be construed as a rhetorical question. It is impossible to answer that with the given information. When the VA schedules C&P exams, they ask the examiner to answer specific questions of the veteran. Sometimes the VA just asks for medical opinions of the examiners. The VA provides the examiners all the medical evidence so they can provide an opinion w/ rationale. Rest assured, as long as you meet the rule of three; in-service occurrence, current diagnosis, and a link between the current diagnosis and your in-service occurrence, you can be service connected.  (DS)  3/28/22
