Q838:  With inflation taking a big chunk out of my disability check and gas prices soaring, is there any chance the VA will give emergency funding to veterans so that our financial status/buying power remains the same?

A1:  This is just a personal opinion, but I don't think that will happen. Our raises are almost always tied to social security. Everyone is affected by what's going on w/ inflation and gas prices.  (DS)  3/10/22

A2:  Probably not!  (WD)  3/10/22

A3:  The simple answer is NO.  Your VA check is tied to Social Security. It SS goes up, your check will too. Otherwise, we are all out of luck.  (RJ)  3/10/22

A4:   I am very much in favor of the gov't providing some additional monies to replace the high cost of living expense.  (JL)  3/11/22

A5:  I would say no because they worry about the cost. The VA won't even accept the fact that hypertension was caused by Agent Orange or the medical studies that say different and it all has to do with money.  (AM)  3/11/22
