Q784: When will the new disability rates be announced? I understand that the disability rates has been signed into law.

A1: The "rates" per se don't change, there's only a COLA increase. You SHOULD see the increase in your December check. (KD) 11/12/21
A2: Usually the new rates come out in December. (JH) 11/12/21
A3: I've been told the new rates will be listed by the VA in late December and you should see the increase in your January 2022 check. (BW) 11/12/21
A4: You will see a big increase in your December check. (FP) 11/12/21
A5: Like all the raises the VA gives, they are effective on December 1st of the year and payable January 1st. This years 5.9% pay increase will be in your check on 12/31/21. (DS) 11/17/21
