A1:  There is no "5% pension" that I am aware of dealing with the VA. If you are on the wartime pension, then you need to have your doctor complete a VA Form 21-2680. This is the form that tells the VA how your health is. If you are 96 years old then the VA will expedite your claim. Please consult with an accredited veteran service officer to get your claim expedited.  (DS)  8/27/21
