A1:  The question is difficult given the limited information you provided. Is the pension from your work, social security, retirement, non-service connected wartime pension (NSC)? I will address the latter. NSC is a needs based program. You are limited by law to how much you can draw. If you draw SS then there is an offset. There are three levels: basic, homebound, and A&A. Each one is a higher amount and the amount is based on if you are single or have dependents. If you are drawing the basic NSC and your health has worsened, then see your local VSO to file for an increase. Have your doctor complete a VA Form 21-2680. Bring that with you when you consult with a VSO.  (DS)  8/13/21
