A1:  Start with your Primary Healthcare Provider - either VA or Civilian. have them evaluate and verify the disability and/or medical condition, and whether or not it may be service-connected. Then take that info and go to your Accredited Veterans' Service Officer and file a claim for the new disabilities.  (DJ)  7/10/21

A2:  You don't get reevaluated for new disabilities that is to get increase in what you are service connected for now. For new ones do a 21-526ez and send it to Janesville, Wis. that is where all claims go to.  (GR)  7/10/21

A3:  I suggest you go to your local DAV or VSO for assistance. They have the knowledge on how you would start a re-evaluation. I hope this helps.  (RC)  7/10/21

A4:  Getting reevaluated for new disabilities is a very simple process. If you have not been previously denied for the disability you are filing for, the process is simple. File for service connected (SC) compensation on a VA form 21-526ez and submit to the Janesville, WI intake center. I would recommend seeking the help of an accredited service officer. We have software that will get your claim into the VA's VBMS system w/in minutes. VBMS is the system VA uses to process claims. If you have been previously denied by the VA then you have to used a VA Form 20-0995 and submit new & relevant (N&R) evidence along with it. If you don't submit N&R evidence then the VA will not process your claim. If the denial was w/in the last year then you can submit a VA Form 20-0996 and ask for a more senior rater to relook at your claim. You can also submit a VA Form 10182 telling the VA that you don't agree with the decision (NOD) and you want to start the appeals process.  (DS)  7/12/21

A5:  You can go to the organization that started your claim and they can submit the paperwork needed to apply for the new disability.  I'm a post Service Officer in Mo and have done it for my Veterans.  (ML)  7/12/21
