Your generous gift will go directly to helping veterans and dependents. We simply cannot continue without your help for our community of veterans and dependents who count on us for our Veteran Pantry. Your support will make a lasting impact.
A1: Start by collecting your DD-214, Military Service and Military Healthcare records, and find an Accredited Veterans' Service Officer to evaluate your records and file your claim. Most States have County Veterans Service Offices, your nearest VA Medical Center, or the local Posts of any Veterans Service Organization (American Legion, DAV, FRA, VFW, etc) can help you. A2: I would recommend consulting with an "accredited" Veteran Service Officer, such as I. We are trained in VA laws and procedures and have to pass an exam. If you don't want to do that, you can apply for all benefits online. VA Form 10-10ez is the form to get enrolled in VA healthcare. If you are filing for disability, you can do this on a VA Form 21-526ez. If you are a veteran with wartime service and have little to no income you can apply for the Wartime Pension on the VA Form 21-527ez. The process can seem daunting and a VSO can help you navigate the system and take the worry out for you. (DS) 6/7/21
