A1:  Veterans may be eligible for a one-time payment of not more than $21,058.69, beginning 10-01-18 for the purchase of an automobile or other conveyance. The VA has to look at your service connected disabilities to make the determination on your eligibility. As you know, VA is behind on their claims processing. Additionally, the VA does not decide on the award based on your doctor's recommendation. VA has to follow the law when making the determination.  (DS)  6/1/21
