A1: Audio dysfunction is usually divided into seven categories. What I would do is to file SC on a direct basis for this and If you have TBI, then you can also ask for SC on a secondary basis. You'll never know unless you try. The only way you would get more money than 100% is with SMCs. (DS) 6/1/21
A2: Exposure to JP4 and JP7 and 9 are just now beginning to be recognized as a cause for major health problems in vets and I believe loss of hearing is one of those ailments. You can easily ck on that with a computer by just typing into your address bar ( effects of JP4 and disabilities in vets.) it should give you a complete rundown on medical. (DJ) 6/1/21
A3: I have not seen anything linking Aviation fuels, Diesel and gasoline, or Mil-Std 2100-series lube and hydraulic oils to anything besides gastro-intestinal issues. Tinnitus and Auditory Disfunction (hearing loss) are already presumptive for service around aircraft, propulsion machinery, artillery and gunfire, and TBI. If you are already receiving compensation for Tinnitus and Hearing loss, you probably can't get any more, but go see your VSO and see what they say. (DJ) 6/9/21
