A1:  The VA hospital where I work two days a week Travel Section was 150K vouchers behind. They have since caught up as of last week. They said the VA implemented a new system which was extremely user unfriendly and it put all the travel sections behind processing vouchers. They got approval to use the old system and that's how they got caught up. I thought new systems were to make your life easier, but in this case, it didn't. Luckily VA was smart enough to allow them to use the old system to catch up. You also must be entitled to VA travel pay: 30% or higher VA disability rating, traveling for treatment of a SC disability if less than 30%, be on VA's Wartime Pension, or have an income below the VA's maximum annual pension rate.  (DS)  5/11/21
