A1:  Have your doctor fill out a VA Form 21-2680 and then submit this to the VA Compensation system. If the VA feels you meet the Criteria for Homebound or you are in need of Aid and Attendance with your Activities of Daily Living, you will gain more money.  (RJ)  4/21/21

A2:  100% is all you can get. You can receive additional compensation through what's called special monthly compensation (SMC). VA can pay more compensation to a Veteran who lost, or lost the use of, specific organs or body parts due to your military service. You can also receive SMC based on Housebound or Aid & Attendance. The need for the Housebound or Aid & Attendance has to be due to your service connected disabilities.  (DS)  4/21/21

A3:  I don't know how you can get other benefits for yourself. Or if you qualify for more money from the VA. But, when my husband received 100% I qualified for CHAMPVA. This is a benefit that pays my copays from my Medicare plan. My clinic and pharmacy files with Medicare first and then CHAMPVA. I am the spouse and my husband the Veteran. Medicare plans differ and this is like having a supplement that I don't pay for. There may be more benefits out there that I don't have or know about. Check with your CVSO before making a decision. Thank you for your Service.  (DE)  4/21/21
