A1: The Maj Richard Star Act was introduced 02/22/2021. This bill will have to be considered in committee before it is possibly sent to the House or Senate. This is a bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to provide for concurrent receipt of veterans' disability compensation and retirement pay for disability retirees with fewer than 20 years of service and a combat-related disability, and for other purposes. Chapter 61 retirees, medically retired prior to 20 years, would stand to benefit from passage of this bill. (DS) 4/15/21
