A1: Have you contacted the VA to ask them? They are the ones to examine you and arbitrate any changes in your status. (CG) 3/2/21
A2: I suggest you see your eye specialist and get tested. Take the test results to your local VSO or DAV and have them assist you in filing a claim. I wish you well and hope it works out for you. I was in the Navy for over 23 years and have glaucoma. (RC) 3/2/21
A3: The best thing to do is to reopen your service connected disability through a new claim. (TB) 3/2/21
A4: Without knowing whether you are drawing a Pension or Compensation as there is a difference. You need to contact an Accredited VSO with the VFW, Am Vets, Am Legion, DAV or another Veterans Service Organization. Also you did not state what you have been rated for. If you are now legally blind a VSO can help you submit for Catastrophic Status which helps with your VA Health Care. You may also be eligible for A&A and the new CGs (VA Form 10-10 CG) assistance. See a VSO they will do the contacting with the VA. Never do it yourself or take advice from Stockade Lawyers. Remember the VSOs are free and will assist you. (GH) 3/8/21
