Q570:  I am a ten year Army veteran with war experience in Iraq. I am not signed-up with the VA, I have no medical insurance with my current employer and my wife is due next month.  Can I take her to the VA when the baby is coming?  Does the VA have a maternity ward?

A1:  If your wife is NOT a veteran, she can not use the VA for any services.  (RJ)  11/17/20

        

A2:  No they don't, but depends on your income you can go to the health department in your county and file for WIC and Medicaid for her and the baby. Good luck.  (MC)  11/17/20
