Q537: My question is since the military doctors and the VA doctors have given me several Sinus Surgery, because of Cancer of the sinus I have to wear a mask everyday of my life to help keep the infection down. I can't even cut my lawn and do several other things around my house because of my medical issues. My doctor at the VA stated that I do not need to be mowing my lawn and touching or handling any chemical products. I can't even breathe around carpet and had to remove all the carpet out of my home ant it cost me several thousand dollar to remove and replace it with laminate, because I couldn't afford wood. I need help in finding out about a grant that the VA may have that can help me with these issues and other medical issues. Thank you for any help and advice.

A1: I recommend you contact an Accredited VSO with the DAV, VFW, Am Legion, Am Vets or another Veterans Service Organization. You did not say this was service connected or not. You need to get the advice of a VSO. He/She can advise you of different avenues within the VA and Service Organizations that can assist.
