Use Form Below To Respond

A1:    Exposure to Agent Orange is not a disability.  However, if you are filing a claim for a presumptive illness which is covered under the Agent Orange Act, you can file for disability.  You can find these disabilities listed here.

https://www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/agentorange/conditions/  (RJ)  10/9/20

A2:  There is no compensation specifically for the issue of exposure to agent orange. Compensation is awarded for the conditions it causes, ie: NonHodgkin's lymphoma.  You only have to file for compensation for the specific condition due to exposure to Agent Orange, not for the ones already service connected.  If you want to file for an increase for the ones already service connected you have to only submit that disability, not all of the disabilities that you are service connected for unless you want to file for an increase for all of them.  The disabilities caused by agent orange are in the VA web site or 38CFR chapter 4.  (JK)  10/10/20
