Q529:  The VA admitted to not applying the bilateral factor to my claim and authorized backpay. DFAS only gave me back pay up to the time I received CRSC for PTSD. They said I could only receive backpay from that date to the date of the VA letter saying I was entitled to backpay if I got my bilatertal neuropathy CRSC. My question is why does the CRSC have anything to do with backpay? Each CRSC is awarded individually.
