Q508:  I do a lot of traveling and would really like to find places to rest and eat while on the road.  Is there any place I can stop and relax on the road that caters to veterans?  I’m looking for places like a USO, except on American highways.

A2:  Welcome to Tulsa, Oklahoma!  While it is not a USO, the Coffee Bunker does welcome all veterans. If you google Coffee Bunker, Tulsa you can see the services. It is located just off Interstate 44 and Sheridan Street exit. Parking is a little short in supply, but is not a real problem.
No matter when there is always a hot cup of coffee and good conversation, sometimes with a treat.  Travelling the Mother Road Highway 66 or Int. 44 stop by during the hours of operation.

A3:  You can check the military installation along your route. They have guest houses too that you can spend the night.  (MA)  8/30/20

A5:  Most towns have a Elks Club,which cater to veterans. They have free breakfast every third Saturday. From 7:30 to 10:00 A.M. And you can rest awhile. Also DAV or American Legion.  (MH)  8/30/20

A7:  If you are a Service Connected Veteran you may stop at any Military Installation. You can take advantage of the space A quarters, gas station, eating establishments on base, visit the museums, use the golf course or take in a movie. Happy motoring.   (GH)  8/30/20

A10:  There are American Legions and/or VFW post in or near major cities. These Post usually have a meeting room where you can isolate your self or you can socialize with the locals.  (RD)  8/31/20
