Use Form Below To Respond

A1:  if your military service put you in regular contact with certain fuels and chemicals known to cause Diverticulitus or other gastro-intestinal disorders, you may be eligible for VA compensation. Take your Military Service and Medical records to an Accredited Veterans Service Officer (County VSO, American Legion, DAV, VFW, etc.) and let them figure it out.  (DJ)  7/28/20

A2:  Contact an Accredited VSO from the VFW, DAV, Am Vets, Am Legion or another Service Organization. Take a copy of your DD-214 , your military health records and your private doctors records. Your question does not give much information other than you have been diagnosed. I will introduce you to the "Colusa Triangle". 1. Current diagnosis. "No diagnosis. No Service Connection." 2. In Service event, Where, when and what happened. 3. NEXUS. (link - cause and effect connection) Or a Doctor's Statement: "Is as least likely as not due to Military Service." Claim wins every time.  (GH)  7/28/20
