Comments: June '67 was severely wounded on patrol. Medivact and never heard from him again, Name is not on the Wall. Marine service #2116360. Came from Pennsylvania. Was 0311became 0341 and then back to 0311 when he got wounded. (He borrowed my helmet which was never found.l). A good African American Marine buddy. If any knows of him or his whereabouts living or dead advise. Thank you and Semper Fi!

Comments: Joe was a MM2 and from LA. We were stationed on 32nd St. in San Diego on the USS Dubuque LPD 8. Just lost communication since then and plus some of the other shipmates too.
