Q85: I am 80% and IU and will be IU for 10 years in 10/2018. We live in David, Panama and our home has steps that are hard for me to step up sometimes. Will the VA help me with this and our bathroom is too small and I have fell in it and hurt myself. Will the VA help me with enlarging it?

A1: Check with the home loan department might be able to help with a repayable loan with easy terms. (AA) 7/24/18
A2: The regulations are very clear about what qualifies for home repairs or enlargement. These modifications have to be approved by the prosthetics department. I suggest you check with them. (AP) 7/25/18
