Q316:  I am 100% T&P, I do not have S DVI Life Insurance. If I apply for S DVI Insurance, will I be responsible for the premium?  I ask as it seems that you have to have already had it to get no cost being 100% T&P.

A1:  You have to apply for SDLI w/in two years of receiving a "NEW" VA rated disability, even if it is only 0%. If you are 100 P&T or IU and under 65 you can apply to have your premiums waived on the first $10K.  (DS)  12/10/19
