Q261: My best friend cares for her husband around the clock and the VA pays her a monthly stipend. He’s only 80% service-connected. My husband is 100% service-connected, and I applied for caregiver compensation and the VA rejected me. They said there was no proof I was his caregiver. How do I prove to the VA I care for my husband 24/7?
If you have a question about benefits, compensation, pension or VA related issues please submit here.
