Q233:  If I filed a claim for hearing and sleep apnea about two years ago and was denied because it was not service connected, so I filed a protest and never heard anything back until about 6 months when they sent me notification that the sleep apnea and hearing was in REMAND then I was contacted by an outside provider for an C&P, after the C&P I was notified that I received a rating for my hearing but denied my sleep apnea. Will I get compensated for the time I filed or when they gave me my rating?  I remember when I filed my first claim it was about three months and I received a payment for the time it was filed and the time I got my compensation.  I sure hope this makes sense for those that will be reading.
